LED ConnectaRail Handrail on Staircase

The upgrade of Campbelltown Hospital has brought world-class health care to the local community. On entry to the hospital, visitors are greeted with Intrim LED ConnectaRail Handrail on the foyer staircase. Hospital spaces tend to favour salutogenesis and biophilic design. Which has a positive impact on the physical health and mental well-being of those living and working in these interiors. Timber is a natural material, that aids in achieving such interior design appeal with more traditional and simple styles working perfectly in a functioning space. The handrails are finished in an antimicrobial coating in combination with Victorian Ash timber. To cater for the hardwearing requirements of the healthcare environment.

Intrim supplied the 9c-compliant ConnectaRail handrail ideally suited for hospitals and healthcare environments. Featuring a combination of natural timber DOW50 handrail, stainless steel HB02FS handrail bracket, HB06L mounting bracket and Flexy LED Light Strip Rolls. Intrim Connectarail provided quicker installation than other systems, while LED lighting achieves a positive mood and energy saving over traditional lighting. Adding Intrim LED lighting to the handrail system will improve visibility in low-lit areas, especially during the nighttime and can be integrated for use as a low-level, night light to illuminate as staff or residents move through the corridors and stairwells at night. Intrim LED handrails are available in 3 lighting tones: Warm White, Cool White and Natural White. Campbelltown Hospital decided on Natural White which works well with the timber features, ensuring the lighting is not too harsh.
