Captivating Classic Hamptons Renovation

This home created by our friends at Front Porch Properties is a true Classic American style, drawing inspiration from the Classic Hamptons style holiday homes.  So many of our favourite FPP signature styles shine through in this home. From the hand-pitched cathedral ceiling & roof gables, carriage style garage door, to the classic shingles and it’s hard to pick a favourite. The extensive Intrim wainscoting wall panelling and architrave detail throughout the master bedroom & ensuite is such a standout feature. Not to mention the built-in window seat, it’s the perfect spot for curling up with a good book.

The house was in need of some “street love” and a little bit of a reno so Rachael from Front Porch Properties delivered an extension to the front of the house which had 2 benefits.  Firstly we could add on some square meterage to the front of the house to make a larger Master Bedroom, robe and ensuite which has turned into a real retreat zone for our homeowners and secondly, it meant that we could completely change the street appeal.

Although the original home is only around 20 years old, the clients love the work from the Front Porch Properties team and this was the second renovation they delivered for this client.

 

 

Upper Level – Master Bedroom 

The architrave on the doorways and windows uses Intrim SK348 66 x 18mm, while the chair rail CR62, inlay mould IN16 combine to create the Intrim wainscoting, anchored with Intrim skirting board SK348 115 x 18mm to complete this stunning bedroom. The timber moulding and stunning window seat make this room, and the home owners couldn’t be more delighted.

 

Upper Level – Classic Hamptons Bathroom Master Ensuite

 

 

A beautiful eye for detail with lower wall raised panel wainscoting is created with FJ Pine, the ideal solution for bathrooms. Wainscoting provides a stylish solution in place of using wall tiles. Created with chair rail CR62, inlay moulding IN16 and skirting board SK348  115 x 18. The mouldings are pre-primed for wet areas which ensures added protection to the material for these humid rooms.

Hallway

 

This doorway and walls are breathtaking. The Wainscoting finished in a crisp white provides a consistent look with the master bedroom and bathroom, featuring the same products throughout these spaces.

 

Downstairs Level – Laundry

The aspirations of a newly renovated laundry. Fabulously designed with Architraves with SK348 in size 66 x 18mm and skirting board SK348 in size 115 x 18.
