Country Beadboard Wainscoting

Country Beadboard Wainscoting is a key design element of this country family home. The renovation blends traditional opulence of chandeliers, gilded gold mirrors and a grand piano with more casual relaxed country style which features colonial furniture pieces, Colonial style Intrim Timber Mouldings and Beadboard Wainscoting. The renovation undertaken in stages included sanding the original floors to bring new life, new carpet, timber mouldings and wall treatments. Featuring SK60 Skirting and Architraves, with Beadboard Wainscoting Wall panelling. Created using Intrim VJ Board 100 capped with CR16 Chair Rail / Dado Rail painted in Dulux Vivid White Semi-Gloss. Using a combination of a two-tone colour scheme and beadboard wall panelling provides each space its own identity, connected beautifully through the consistency of the skirting and wall panelling.

The living space is finished with White Beadboard Wainscoting and matt finish denim blue wall paint, while they used Grey and white in the hallway and crisp white on white for the bedrooms. The owners creatively used VJ Board Pro 100 in the bedrooms to create a bedhead feature, capped with chair rail, and connected to the rest of the timber mouldings through the Intrim SB02 skirting blocks. This provides the wall behind the bedhead projection while also creating a simple country style finish.
