Three Birds Renovations House 11
This home is traditional Hamptons with a splash of colours & patterns you might not normally see. Add a dash of Three Birds flavour & we have another inspirational home that is just beautiful to look at.
Three Birds Renovations have hit it out of the park again with this magnificent Hamptons inspired renovation. This home is the first time they have taken someone’s keys, budget and any creative input to create them a Three Birds version of their dream home.
The original exterior lent itself to be a very Cape Cod / Hamptons style, which was easily achieved by cosmetic changes. The interior set out to achieve the feeling of more space and a much brighter look.
Some very clever renovation ideas were used here, such as adding an internal window to a structural wall that could not be moved to open up a space (this is between the kitchen and back lounge). Framing it is beautiful architraves really make it a stand out feature.
The bench seat in the dining nook was the perfect solution to not cramp the space with furniture, as well as offering more seating. The coloured cushion draws the eye along the full length of the wall making the space feel larger.
The master suite has a unique wall panelling added to add character and instantly elevate the room to something special. This was created using inlay mould into ‘frames’ and separated by a small sill nosing #genius! By opening up the ensuite and wardrobe doorways, it created the feeling of more space, without heavy duty construction.
Overall, the home is a fresh take on ‘Colour Me Hamptons’ to achieve a bright, open, airy, dreamy, breezy space.
