Intrim Essential Primed Half Splayed Architrave is used as a trim around windows and doors and the Primed Half Splayed Skirting is used as a moulding to cover the transition where the floor and wall come together. To distinguish, use a larger skirting board than architrave. Eg 138x18mm skirting used with a 90x18mm architrave.

What makes Intrim Essentials different to your other skirting & architraves?

Intrim Essentials are made overseas and brought into Australia prefinished. The range is a small range of high volume profiles preferred by large project home builders due to the lower cost. The primed finish is very different, and we are unable to offer any customisation.

What is the primed finish on Intrim Essentials?

Intrim Essentials primed finish appearance is a completely different type of finish to the primed finish on our Custom Moulding range made in our state of the art Australian manufacturing facility. It is a solid white coating, ready for painting.

Can I get curved or arches in the Intrim Essentials range?

No, Intrim Essentials skirting and architraves are not available in arches or for curved walls. See the curved mouldings in our bespoke range for this option.

Are Intrim Essentials cheaper than other skirting boards?

Yes the price of Intrim Essentials is lower than the custom made to order range, however the product finish, range of options and other factors need to be considered when determining the best solution for your project.
