The Nova Vita® Collection is Intrim’s latest flush finish skirting board system developed for designers seeking a softer alternative to traditional shadowline detailing.
Designed for recessed installation with plasterboard walls, Nova Vita creates a clean, integrated finish, while introducing gentle curves in place of sharp, square edges. The result is a more fluid architectural expression that feels considered, modern, and resolved. A distinctive finish not yet seen in the Australian market.
Each profile is supported by complementary door jambs, ensuring a consistent design language across walls and openings.
Inspired by the Latin Nova Vitae meaning “new life”, this collection introduces a fresh, interpretation of flush finish skirting for contemporary homes, coastal retreats, and Scandi‑inspired minimalist spaces.
Traditional shadowline skirting features sharp, linear edges and strong shadow detailing. Nova Vita replaces these square forms with subtle curves, adding warmth and movement while maintaining a minimalist flush appearance.

Available in both 1-piece and 2-piece configurations, the system accommodates different flooring installation sequences while preserving the recessed finish.
Each skirting profile has a matching 2-piece door jamb, ensuring a seamless, cohesive look throughout the space.

The jamb design reflects the curved detailing of the skirting, ensuring visual continuity throughout the interior. This allows designers, architects, and builders to maintain a consistent language across walls, openings, and transitions.

Choose the 1-piece skirting system for carpet or polished concrete floors installed before plasterboard.
Choose the 2-piece skirting system for timber or tiled floors where the skirting needs to be installed after plastering and the lower section can be temporarily removed to allow for flooring installation.
Yes. Profiles are available to suit both 10mm and 13mm plasterboard, the most common wall linings in Australian residential construction.
