Do you need primer on Polyurethane mouldings?

Yes, a Primer undercoat is recommended on Polyurethane mouldings to ensure that the paint sticks to the surface and fewer coats are required to get full coverage. We recommend using one coat of Dulux oil–based total preparation primer sealer undercoat. Once the primer is dried completely you can apply two to three coats of Dulux weather shield maxi flex semi-gloss acrylic or gloss acrylic depending on the gloss level required.
