Jen Bishop's Lounge & Ensuite Makeover, using VJ Panels and Lining Boards
Interiors Addict Jen Bishop recently completed a makeover of her loungeroom & ensuite featuring Intrim VJ Board Pro 100 & LB03 Wall Panelling.

Getting the stylish look of vertical boards was achieved by using Intrim VJ Board Pro 100 in the lounge room. This product was the perfect feature wall to hide the TV cables, and achieve her vision for the room. Each panel is 1200mm wide with VJ grooves spaced at 100mm centres, meaning it is quick and easy to cover a wall with these large panels. The panel lengths are available up to 5.4m in length ensuring she was able to get one continuous length from the top of the cabinet to the ceiling height, so there were no visible joins.
For her ensuite Jen didn’t want the expense and mess of retiling the walls, so she choose to continue the VJ look into this small space. As VJ Board Pro is an MDF substrate it isn’t recommended for wet areas, so Jen achieved the same look by using Lining Boards LB03 made from Primed FJ Pine. These are individual boards available in a number of widths up to 285mm wide which are repeated along the wall. So although not as wide as the large sheets of the VJ Panels used in the lounge room, lining boards for this smaller space in a wet area was the ideal solution.
