Dream Home featuring dream mouldings

Fall in love with this stunning home that features grand curved architraves, sky high skirting boards, beautiful wainscoting and so much more.

French Inspired Dream Home

For Katherine Saab, the build of her family’s dream home was quite the journey from a pandemic to record rainfalls there were undoubtedly a lot of obstacles to overcome. But overcome they did and the results are just phenomenal. This stunning home has plenty of style inspiration including French and Meditteranean with jaw-dropping door and arched window architraves, sky-high skirting boards, sill nosings, skirting blocks and beautiful wainscoting details all from Intrim Mouldings.

When it came to the building process, builder Charlie from Diamond Build Australia said he enjoyed working with the Intrim products because; “It was effortless to install, the custom arch architraves framed the windows perfectly and the wainscoting integrated seamlessly with our door profiles.” It can’t be denied the timber mouldings make all the difference to this home adding style, character and luxury. From a 6-metre entry door framed by curved architraves to a hidden, pivot door that needs to be seen to be believed, there are plenty of features to love about this home. Read on to see just how spectacular this dream home is.

If you had managed to recover your breath from the sight of the gorgeous towering door framed by SK1063 curved architraves then you might just lose it again once you step foot into the entry hallway. Intrim IN13 inlay mould was used to create the stunning raised panel wainscoting on the walls with sky-high 230mm skirting boards and statement-grabbing SB02 skirting blocks to compliment the 11-foot ceilings.

Kitchen

Kitchen Curved Architraves

The Kitchen is the heart of the home and Katherine had a vision for an open-plan kitchen with a stunning island and a bench seat for the kids to eat breakfast. Gorgeous marble countertops and a continuation of the SK1063 115mm curved architraves match the arched floor-to-ceiling doorways.

Dining Area

A gorgeous family home made for entertaining family and friends. Katherine wanted plenty of natural light which is where the row of arched SK1063 architraves come in. The curves were expertly installed by Diamond Build who loved how easy they were to install.

Living Area

Living Room Wainscoting

This beautiful relaxing space features IN13 inlay mould used to create the wainscoting. Katherine opted not to use chair rail and instead focus on a mix of small and large panels. The Wainscoting Panels are also perfect for framing artwork which is exactly what will happen in this room once Katherine finds the perfect piece.

Hidden Pivot Door

Now you see me, now you don’t. An increasingly popular look the hidden pivot door was expertly installed so that when closed it perfectly blends into the wall.

Master Bedroom

The kid’s bedrooms see a continuation of the SK1063 115mm arched windows that feature throughout the home. Katherine loves the small arched windows in her son’s room. “They remind me of chapel windows and are one of my favourite features in this room.”

Powder Room

The wainscoting in the powder room is a luxurious getaway in itself. Katherine installed a high-powered ceiling fan to account for any moisture as well as a ceiling light to allow some natural light into the space. Around the bathtub, there is a step that is beautifully replicated with the SK1063 skirting boards.

The great skirting block debate. Katherine was initially unsure about whether to use skirting blocks in her home but ended up being completely sold and decided on SB02 skirting blocks.
