Oak & Orange's Dream Home 10

With crystal-clear waters, golden beaches, and that unmistakable old-school Aussie charm, South West Rocks provided the perfect backdrop for Oak & Orange’s latest project. Dream Home 10—their first luxury holiday home—captures the essence of an endless summer getaway, wrapped in coastal style, Mediterranean flair, and functional design.

Designing the Ultimate Coastal Escape

Oak & Orange set out to create a home that felt like a holiday, every day. The result? A Mediterranean farmhouse–inspired villa that comfortably hosts up to 12 guests, with five luxurious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. While the block is a compact 690 sqm, a clever floor plan flip allowed the pool and alfresco entertaining area to sit at the front of the home, making the most of its northern aspect and year-round sunshine.

From the tiled floors that extend from the pool and alfresco through every room, to the curved kitchen rangehood and arched fireplace wall, the home is packed with timeless detail, functionality, and a relaxed luxury aesthetic.

Intrim’s Mouldings Bring Character & Continuity

To complete the home’s classic coastal meets Mediterranean vibe, Oak & Orange used Intrim’s LB150 timber lining boards, SK51 skirting and architraves to deliver warmth, texture, and consistency throughout the interiors.

The timber lining boards were used extensively across the ceilings of the main living area, dining room, and all bedrooms, adding depth, texture, and a classic farmhouse feel. In Bedroom 1, the largest of the five suites, it creates a full-height feature wall that elongates the room and draws the eye upward. The powder room also features lining board, offering tactile contrast and design interest in a smaller space.

The versatile SK51 skirting and architrave profile features throughout the home, including the curved fireplace wall, where its seamless application helps maintain a soft, flowing architectural line without compromising on design impact.

Dream Home 10 was made for laid-back entertaining and functional holiday living. The materials and finishes were chosen with purpose, from the practical floor tiles that handle sandy feet with ease, to the zoned layout that gives every guest privacy while still feeling connected.
