Discover Que Maison

A stunning example of French Provincial-style architecture, seamlessly blending European elegance with a modern luxury.

A Grand French Provincial Masterpiece

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Blue Mountains in semi-rural western Sydney, Que Maison is a stunning example of French Provincial-style architecture, seamlessly blending European elegance with a modern luxury. Designed and built by Cattalini Projects, this residence embodies timeless craftsmanship, refined detailing, and a harmonious connection with its natural surroundings.

Timeless Design Meets Modern Luxury

Inspired by classic French architecture, Que Maison commands attention with its grand façade and ornate detailing. The home’s elevated position and expansive acreage allow for a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, enhancing its sense of grandeur while maintaining an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. A muted, sophisticated colour palette was chosen to complement the surrounding landscape, reinforcing the home’s timeless appeal.

Maximising Natural Light and Breathtaking Views

With an emphasis on light-filled interiors, Que Maison was designed to capture natural light at every opportunity. The use of varied floor levels and expansive windows ensures panoramic views of the Blue Mountains, creating an effortless flow between grand entertaining areas and private retreats.

Bringing Elegance to Life with Intrim Mouldings

To enhance the architectural depth and sophistication of the interiors, Cattalini Projects selected Intrim’s premium decorative mouldings, adding layers of texture, refinement and authenticity throughout the home.

Intrim’s SK1063 185mm high skirting and 90mm architrave feature throughout. This bold French Provincial-style profile reinforces the home’s sense of grandeur and scale. Curved architraves in the main living area add a bespoke architectural element that enhances the home’s unique character.

SB04 skirting blocks bring classic, heritage-style details that enhance doorways, windows and transition areas.

IN16 inlay mould was used to create exquisite wainscoting in the entryway, bathrooms and bedrooms, adding refined texture and a timeless European aesthetic. While IN06 was used as a chair rail to top off the half-height wainscoting in the laundry, study, and child’s bedroom.

A Testament to French Provincial Elegance

With its impeccable craftsmanship, refined detailing, and luxurious interiors, Que Maison is a masterpiece of French Provincial design, proving that decorative mouldings are essential in achieving a high-end, period-inspired aesthetic. Intrim’s mouldings played a key role in elevating this home from beautiful to breathtaking, delivering a wow factor that truly sets it apart.
