Intrim® WB01

Intrim offers a range of timber wall and ceiling panelling solutions, including wainscoting, wall battens, and lining boards, with styles ranging from classic to modern contemporary, Hamptons to coastal.

Lining boards are narrow timber boards up to 300mm wide that join using a tongue-and-groove system to cover walls entirely. They can be applied vertically with a chair rail for a beadboard Wainscoting or horizontally for a Shiplap look.

Concave mouldings have a semi-circle removed, creating a decorative scallop, while half rounds have a half-circle shape cut out on the back; when placed side by side, each creates distinctive panelling effects on walls or other surfaces.

Yes, many of our wall panelling profiles can also be used on ceilings to create a seamless connection between surfaces.

The ideal height depends on the proportions of the room and the desired outcome. Wainscoting is typically installed at one-third of the wall height, while board and batten can extend to two-thirds or full height for a more dramatic effect.

Decorative wall panels are extremely versatile and can work fabulously in a modern space or home. Modern panelling and wainscoting styles add greater dimension and refined detail to interiors, creating a sophisticated, elegant home environment. Timber panelling also offers a framed feature for displaying keepsakes and picture frames, and is a cost-effective way of hiding damaged plasterboard and increasing the durability of interior walls.

The cost of wall panelling depends on the application method and level of detail. Traditional raised panel wainscoting is more labour-intensive and requires additional materials, making it a higher-end option. Simpler installation methods, such as direct application, offer a more cost-effective alternative while still delivering a refined finish.

The minimum order quantity is 10 lengths. We always recommend increasing your order slightly to allow for any wastage or damage. It is the most cost-effective option if you underestimate your requirements, rather than placing a top-up order.
