A Luxurious Vaucluse Residence

There’s a certain magic in this elegant Vaucluse home—a sense of refinement and timeless beauty that unfolds in every carefully considered detail. Designed by Noela Coffey of Mageia Design, the residence is a showcase of French-inspired elegance blended with contemporary design, creating a space that feels both breathtaking and effortless.

Where French Grandeur Meets Modern Design

Every inch of this home has been meticulously crafted, with nothing left to chance. From the feature staircase to the intricate architectural mouldings, the result is a harmonious balance between classical inspiration and modern luxury.

A palette of pure whites, soft greys, and metallic accents brings a fresh and contemporary edge to the traditional detailing. These colours allow the architectural features to shine, while also softening the overall aesthetic for a more liveable, light-filled environment.

Effortless Detailing with Intrim Mouldings

At the heart of this design is a celebration of architectural detailing—where scale, proportion, and placement have all been thoughtfully executed. Working closely with the carpentry team at Living Walls, Mageia Design specified Intrim’s mouldings throughout the home to ensure a precise and luxurious finish.

Our SK497 profile was chosen in two heights for the skirting boards – 230mm for downstairs and 185mm for upstairs – and this was paired with 115mm architraves for continuity and cohesion. SN08 sill nosing was used to enhance the window frames with a classic edge.

The beautiful wainscoting design was created using our CR204 chair rail paired with IN32 inlay mould. The fireplaces feature CM36 cornice and IN11 inlay mould, delivering an ornate focal point with extra detailing

The result is a home where every space feels intentional, and where the marriage of interior decoration and architectural detail brings the design to life in a way that is both dramatic and deeply elegant.
