The Value of Mouldings

The talented team at SHW Building and Construction selected Intrim Mouldings to add style and value to this Coastal Hamptons home. Coastal Hamptons style is a relaxed take on the classic Hamptons style with a white-on-white look that is fresh and clean.

The design and build was based on India Hicks British Colonial-styled Harbour Island home. Large 230mm high Intrim SK245 skirting boards and 115mm wide SK497  architraves were used throughout to add an element of decadence. Two styles of wainscoting are featured in this home, both using the same chair rail and inlay mould profiles CR95 and IN09.

‘Frame and Panel’ wainscoting is a focal design element of the entry/hallway whilst ‘Flat Panel’ wainscoting adds sophistication to the staircase. You can learn more about these different styles of wainscoting here.  Coastal Hamptons style was also achieved through the use of the VJ Board Pro 100 on the ceilings to add a relaxed coastal feel. Once again Intrim Mouldings prove it’s the details that truly make a house a home.
