How does the SK800 compare with traditional P50?

P50 creates the shadow gap on site using separate components and additional setting work. With SK800, the shadow gap is factory-machined into the timber profile, removing the need for a separate metal angle, backing block and multistep build-up.

Internal installation testing recorded an average installation time of 1 minute 49 seconds per metre for SK800, compared with 8 minutes 37 seconds per metre for P50. Based on these results, SK800 installs over 4.5 times faster than P50. Actual project results may vary according to site conditions, project complexity and installer experience.
