Wall Panelling at Redbank
Dreamy Hamptons Home with a sophisticated and timeless feel enhanced by the use of VJ Board Pro to create Beadboard Wainscoting as well as chair rail and inlay mould to create Raised Panel Wainscoting.
Take in this dreamy Hamptons project completed by Cook Constructions and located in the prestigious Redbank Estate. The sophisticated and timeless feel is enhanced by the use of Intrim VJ Board Pro which is used to style the hallways and stairs of this home, using a wainscoting style called Beadboard. Beadboard was traditionally constructed using narrow wooden planks lined up vertically on the wall with a little bead between each board, capped by horizontal mouldings to finish the top edge. The modern style of Beadboard used on this project makes use of the VJ wall panelling which are large sheets making it quicker and more cost effective to install to get this fabulous look. A gorgeously subtle alternative wainscoting style, while still providing wall protection for high traffic areas. The traditional raised panel wainscoting is used in a couple of the upstairs rooms where inlay mould is fixed directly to the wall to create a multi ‘picture frame’ look. The Hamptons style flows through the home from the designer kitchen, staircase, bathrooms and creates the perfect backdrop for the new owners to style when they move in.
