Wahroonga Fireplace
A statement piece like a fireplace will always look spectacular with the right mouldings to apply the finishing touches.
There’s something about a fireplace that just makes a statement in a home and lends an air of timeless sophistication. This house located in the upper north Sydney suburb of Wahroonga was designed by Interior Designer Becc Burgmann who applied touches of creams, dark wood ornaments and sleek lines which are tied beautifully together by the square wallpaper feature. The centrepiece of this living room is the fireplace which has been expertly applied with Intrim IN28 inlay mould and SN05 sill nosing by Opulent Finishes around the mantel and face, adding the perfect amount of detail. The inlay mould was also used alongside CR25 chair rail for the wainscoting feature on the walls, cleverly breaking up the wallpaper design as well as linking back to the fireplace with the matching inlay detailing.
IN28 inlay mould and SN05 sill nosing were used to add beautiful detailing to the face, sides and mantel of the fireplace.
A continuation of the IN28 inlay mould and CR25 chair rail created the wainscoting which runs along the bottom half of the living room wall and pairs perfectly with the square feature wall.
