The homeowners of this beautiful house in Seaforth worked with an interior designer to achieve this glamourous finish. The layered soft furnishings, and impeccable styling are only second to the stunning view and Wainscoting wall panelling.
The Intrim Wainscoting wall treatments were created using IN92 inlay mould. To not date the home while still being on trend for the season, the colour palette selected provides a timeless appeal. Painted white, green, and navy it gives each room its own sophisticated style. Complementing the Wainscoting wall panelling requires decorative skirting and architraves to complete the look. The designer on this project got it right, mixing two different profiles with SK487 in 135mm for the skirting boards teamed with SK445 90mm for the architraves. It shows you don’t have to use the same profile for skirting and architraves. A clever selection of profile shapes provides an attractive pairing, that looks they were made for each other.
Stepping of the skirting boards up the staircase was another design feature of this home. Giving a decorative detail to draw the eye up the staircase, it creates a beautiful finish to of what would have otherwise been a bland aesthetic. The staircase is now a feature which ties together the different rooms of this beautiful home using consistent timber mouldings throughout.
