The building’s curved design along with the small space required a skirting board solution that could be manufactured to the exact curves while providing strong durable protection for the lower walls and a quality finish. Intrim Shadowline SK800B was the ideal choice, being able to seamlessly integrate into the vertical plane of the wall reducing the floor space impact of deep skirting boards that jut out into the room. Shadowline was preinstalled prior to the plastering, and the 2 piece system allows the lower piece to be removed to allow the flooring installation. it is then reinstalled and fixed over the top of the flooring to provide the perfect finish.

The modern finished aesthetic achieved from the join line where the skirting meets the wall plaster ties in with other design features, such as the ceiling Shadowline, and cabinetry finish.
