Country Edwardian Residence
Elaborate trims and patterns, curved architraves, decorative skirting boards and more are present throughout this tudor inspired internal finished home
It’s like stepping back in time when you enter this resplendent home with patterned furniture, exposed timber beams and intricate mouldings. Against the scenic backdrop of Kangaroo Valley where lush green fields, trees and blue sky provide the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This home originally built in 1920 has received the ultimate facelift, being tirelessly worked on over the past few years with not a detail left to chance.
Intrim provided the stunning timber mouldings which feature throughout this home including SK115 skirting boards which in some areas including the kitchen and hallway have been cleverly double stacked in 185mm and 285mm to add to the home’s overall feeling of decadence and old-school glamour. SK115 skirting boards in Vic Ash were also used in the library and were stained darker to match the American Oak cabinetry. SK115 curved architraves provided the ultimate statement around the windows of the kitchen and living room. CR46 chair rail and IN32 inlay mould were used to create the raised panel wainscoting which features along the hallway and staircase of the home. SB03 skirting blocks, SN08 sill nosing and SC32 scotia were used throughout to add the finishing details.
